Al-Hamidiyah Souq

Al-Hamidiyah Souq is the largest and most famous covered market in Syria, stretching westwards from the Umayyad Mosque. It was built in the late Ottoman period and remains a vibrant commercial artery selling textiles, spices, sweets, and crafts.
