Dar Alnoor Hotel

Dar Al-Noor is a small boutique hotel in the heart of Damascus’s Old City (Al-Amin/Bab Touma quarter), near the Mariamiya Cathedral and within walking distance of the Umayyad Mosque and the old souks. It’s set in a restored traditional Damascene courtyard house dating back to the early 1700s, built around an open central courtyard. With only about ten rooms and a suite, it’s intimate and atmospheric, pairing historic architecture with modern comforts like en-suite bathrooms, A/C, satellite TV, and Wi-Fi, plus services such as airport transfers and tour arrangements.
